Jackie Chan Set To Visit Nigeria

Chan Kong-sang, popularly known as Jackie Chan is set to visit Nigeria
on September 4, 2015.

The famous Hong Kong actor,
stunt artist, director and film producer is coming under the umbrella of his latest film Dragon Blade, directed by Daniel Lee, which berths in Nigeria, with FilmOne Cinema securing the theatrical rights to show it.

Vanguard reports that Dragon Blade has remained a big hit since it was released last year. The movie headlined the 2014 Abuja International Film Festival where it won most of the top awards, including the Best Foreign Film of the Fidelis Duker-led festival.

According to the Chief Operating Officer of Filmone, Moses Babatope, the film distribution company is pleased to be the distributor of the thrilling movie by the veteran actor Jackie Chan.

“Certainly, he is a household name in Nigeria and indeed Africa, having achieved great things in his career. Now at 60, when people think he should be slowing down, the contrary is the case, as he has proven once more that that age has nothing to do with reaching your set goals. We are proud to be associated with this film and the Jackie Chan brand and we are confident that it will do well at the box office,” Babatope said.
