A new video has been released by the islamist Boko Haram
sect showing a militant with several schoolgirls kidnapped
from Chibok, Borno state.
In the video, the sect passed a message across to the federal government of Nigeria in a local tongue.
One of the girls was called up to speak also. "What I can say is that our parents should take heart," she says in the Kabaku language.
"Talk to the government so that we can be allowed to go home." The video was shared by Ahmad Salkida, a journalist who reportedly has sources in the group.
