National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in graduates within the age
bracket will start going for Youth service (NYSC) soon. This was
revealed by the Vice Chancellor of NOUN, Prof. Ado Tenebe. He also
said that its law graduates may soon gain admission into the Nigerian
Law School, following discussions and intervention by eminent
Nigerians who believe in the vision and mission of the institution as a
full-fledged university.
The VC of National Open University was speaking at the convocation
assembly where he was showcasing first first-class graduates of the
institution to the general public.
Here are his exact words, “We are at an advanced stage, because eminent
Nigerians like the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who is also one
of our students, and respected citizen of this country have taken it upon
themselves to help us contact the authorities to allow our graduates go
through the Law School and participate in the bar.”
