NNPC’s GM, Kachikwu has been in the spotlight, albeit negatively, since queues returned to filling stations nationwide.
A fuel attendant at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)
filling station in Oregun said, on Thursday, March 31, that ‘there is no joy in selling fuel for cars’.
Twitter user, @its_akintunero who was at the station at the time reported the attendant’s speech in a tweet.
so this fuel attendant at NNPC Oregon just said there is
no joy in selling fuel for cars… @Gidi_Traffic

The attendant’s speech is not unfounded though. People who buy petrol into kegs are usually charged an unofficial extra fee for every purchase, depending on the volume. And no one raises eyebrows. We are Nigerians, after all.
