Five Suspected Oil Thieves Arraigned In Court By EFCC (photo)


The Economic and Financial Of Crime Commission, today arraigned five suspected thieves that were arrested by the Nigerian Army. The suspects named Sokari Iminabo, Segun Olagunju, Uche Emmanuel, Obinna Ezinne and Tiny Patience were arraigned on a two counts charge bordering on illegal dealing in petroleum product, before Justice I.J Watilla of the federal High
Court, sitting in Port harcourt, River State.

The suspected thieves were arrested on 26th April 2016, at Anyako Waterside in Sama Community, Asari Toru LG, Rivers State. At the point of their arrest, they were in possession of a locally constructed mental tank, housed in a man diesel truck to convey illegal refined Automative Gasoline Oil (AGO) concealed in poultry feeds.
