President Muhamamdu Buhari led federal government has handed over food items for the internally displaced persons to the Deputy Governor of Borno state Alh Usman Durkwa and Executive chairman Borno state Emergency Management Agency BOSEMA Eng Ahmed Satomi at the Agency's North East store premises Maiduguri Borno state.
This was in line with the memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with NEMA and Borno state Government on provision of food items for the feeding of internally Displaced persons residing in camps across Maiduguri, the Zonal Coordinator NEMA North East Alh Muhammed Kanar said.
The items include:
8000 Bags of Rice(25kg)
3200 Bags of Beans(25kg)
1200 Bags of Maize Gritz (50kg)
1000 Bags of Millet(25kg).
