A fully loaded cement truck skidded and somersaulted along the Zamfara-Sokoto Highway just a few kilometers away from Talatan Mafara.
NEMA officials in Sokoto who rushed to the scene for rescue operation said no one was trapped inside the truck when they arrived. The driver who was seriously injured had been taken to the hospital before their arrival.
