Human Right Activists overseas and in Nigeria who have been pressing Anambra State Police officials to rescue little Sarah, a 3-year-old girl from Amichi in Nnewi Anambra from her violent parents can now breathe a sigh of relief.
The innocent child has suffered badly in the hands of her biological parents who often leave her outside in the rain for allegedly being a witch.
Help came Sarah’s way when a serving NYSC corper exposed these abuses on the social media.
Sarah was rescued on Monday as Anambra State Police Commissioner Sam Okaula ordered the arrest of her parents.
It was also gathered that Sarah who was accused of carrying out spiritual attacks on her family, also had mental challenges, which might have added to her parents frustration which led to the torture.
