Lionel Messi Goes To Bathroom 20 Times Before A Match

Argentina Legend Diego Maradona has questioned Barcelona Star Lionel Messi's leadership skills.

Maradona is currently Coach of Mexican second division club Dorados.

The football legend took charge of Messi and Argentina at the 2010 World Cup In South Africa. 

At the 2018 World Cup, Argentina were beaten 4-3 by France in the Last 16 in Kazan.

Ronaldo, Messi, Zidane And Others to storm Abuja



Reigning World Footballer of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo, his arch rival and FC Barcelona talisman, Lionel Messi, former France captain and coach of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, former African Footballer of the Year, Abedi Ayew Pele, among others are set for an international novelty football match in Abuja, between the African football stars and the rest of the World aimed at campaigning against trafficking, insurgency and terrorism.

The match which will be played at the Abuja National Stadium on May 21 is being organized by Next2None Support Initiative with the theme; Africa My Africa.

Addressing the media in Abuja over the weekend, chairman of Next2None Support initiative, Barr. Ndukwe Sam Obu said his organization decided to use football for its campaign because it speaks the language of love, peace, hope and unity.

According to him, other such football icons like Diego Maradona of Argentina, Ruud Gulit, former African and World footballer of the year, George Opone Weah, Thierry Henri, former African footballer of the year, Nwankwo Kanu and former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha amongst others have confirmed their arrival for the match.

Ndukwe further said since most of the victims of human trafficking with those that play football, the event will help them know that they can do other meaningful activities.
Also speaking at the briefing, Nze Elvis Agukwe, the international coordinator of the project said the proceeds from the novelty match would be given to the victims of human trafficking and insurgency.

He described terrorism and human trafficking as twin evils that require the support of every well meaning individual and organization

The Youngin’ making waves will celebrate his new bumper contract, which now pays him 85,000 pounds a week, by buying his closest friend a £ two million mansion in a choice neighbourhood of Manchester.

 Nineteen-year-old Kelechi Iheanacho, who earned between 10,000 and 18,000 pounds a week before his new deal at The Etihad, is now in the big time and now wishes to splash on Kingsley Ogbodo, who has helped him to settle down in Manchester.

Iheanacho Overtake Mikel As Highest Paid Nigerian Footballer

Kelechi Iheanacho has overtaken Mikel Obi as the top Nigeria earner in the Premier League.

The Manchester City striker is on £85,000-a-week while Mikel Obi earns £70,000 a week. Kelechi recently signed a new two-year contract extension at City till 2021. According to him, his new contract will “change the lives of his family”.

Mikel Obi had been the biggest earner from Nigeria for many years.

Jose Mourinho never gave me a chance, thanks to new Chelsea coach and vows to score goals- Victor Moses Says

Super Eagles winger Victor Moses believes his career can go upwards now that Jose Mourinho is no longer in Chelsea and he has a new coach Antonio Conte.

Moses was signed by Roberto Di Matteo for £9m in 2009 and featured regularly under Di Mattheo and Rafa Benitez but Mourinho upon joining the club lost interest in his services and farmed him out on loan.

Olympic: FIFA Cancels Mikel Obi's Yellow Card Against Denmark


Three Nigerian players have been given the all clear by FIFA ahead of Nigeria’s semi final game against Germany, after it was confirmed that the cautioned they picked up against Denmark has been wiped out.

The trio of Muenfuh Sincere, Usman Muhammed and team captain Mikel Obi had their caution wiped out, hence will approach the tie against Germany without any fear of a possible booking that will see them miss the final if they beat the Germans.

Olympic: Mikel Pays $4,000 To Save Nigeria From Embarrassment In Sao Paulo Hotel

In yet another fresh scandal, Chelsea star Mikel Obi has had to dole out $4,000 to ensure the Nigeria Olympic team caught their flight to Salvador after the hotel in Sao Paulo held the entire team to ransom over the bills incurred by additional officials.

AfricanFootball.com’s source close to the team revealed that it took the intervention of the Chelsea star, who is also the team captain, who paid over $4, 0000 before the players and officials of the team were allowed to leave the hotel. “We just arrived Salvador now (5.20pm Nigerian time) from Sao Paolo. We nearly missed our flight because of unpaid bills in the hotel.

France Midfielder, Paul Pogba Arrives For Man United Medical Before £89m Move

France midfielder Paul Pogba arrived at Manchester United's training base on Monday to complete his record-breaking return to the club from Juventus, an AFP photographer reported.

Pogba was driven into United's Aon Training Complex in the passenger seat of a red and black Chevrolet car provided by the club, having flown to Manchester from Nice. He is due to undergo a medical and is expected to be officially confirmed as a United player on Tuesday or Wednesday. British media reports say United have agreed to pay Juventus a world-record fee of 89 million pounds ($116.4 million, 105 million euros) to sign Pogba, not including agents' fees.
